Creating Your Account

Getting started with QuickAid is quick and easy. Follow these steps to create your account:

  1. Visit the Sign-Up Page

    Click "Sign Up" or "Get Started" on the homepage and select "User Account".

  2. Enter Your Information

    Fill in your basic details:

    • First Name and Last Name
    • Email Address (must be valid)
    • Phone Number
    • Password (minimum 8 characters)
  3. Verify Your Email

    Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to activate your account.

  4. Complete Your Profile

    Add additional information like your location, profile picture, and preferences.

Important

Use a strong password with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Never share your password with anyone.

Managing Your Account

Edit Account Information

  1. Navigate to Settings

    Click your profile picture → Settings from the dashboard

Email Change

When you change your email, you'll need to verify the new address before it becomes active.

Deleting Your Account

Warning

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, reviews, and saved providers will be permanently deleted.

Before You Delete

  • Consider deactivating instead of deleting

Deletion Process

  1. Go to Account Settings

    Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account

  2. Confirm Your Identity

    Enter your password to verify it's you

  3. Provide Feedback (Optional)

    Tell us why you're leaving to help us improve

  4. Final Confirmation

    Click "Delete Account" to complete the process

What Happens After Deletion?

  • Immediate logout from all devices
  • Profile removed from public view
  • All personal data deleted within 30 days
  • Reviews remain but are anonymized
  • Email address becomes available for new accounts after 90 days
