Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and QuickAid ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the platform on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Eligibility
To use QuickAid, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
We reserve the right to verify your eligibility at any time and to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.
User Accounts
Account Creation
You may create a user account or a service provider account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintaining and promptly updating your account information
- Keeping your password secure and confidential
- All activities that occur under your account
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.
Platform Use
Permitted Use
You may use QuickAid to:
- Search for and contact service providers in your area
- Create a service provider profile and offer your services
- Leave honest reviews and ratings for providers you've worked with
- Communicate with other users through our platform features
Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to engage in any of the following:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Impersonate any person, entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Post false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent information
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users or providers
- Collect, scrape, or harvest data from the platform without authorization
- Use the platform for unauthorized commercial advertising or solicitation
- Interfere with the platform's operation, servers, networks, or security
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
- Circumvent any access restrictions, security measures, or usage limits
- Create multiple accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes
Service Provider Terms
Provider Responsibilities
As a service provider on QuickAid, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information about your services and qualifications
- Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and insurance
- Deliver professional, high-quality services to customers
- Honor your stated pricing, availability, and service terms
- Respond promptly and professionally to user inquiries
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards
Verification Process
Service providers must complete our verification process, which may include identity verification, background checks, and professional license verification. We reserve the right to refuse, revoke, or suspend verification at our sole discretion. Verified status does not constitute an endorsement by QuickAid.
Provider Fees
Service providers may be subject to subscription fees or other charges as outlined in the Provider Agreement. All fees are subject to change with reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of the platform after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.
Transactions and Payments
QuickAid is a platform that facilitates connections between users and service providers. All transactions, payments, and service agreements are made directly between users and providers. We are not a party to these transactions and are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of services listed or provided
- Payment disputes, chargebacks, or financial disagreements between users and providers
- Cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, or service interruptions
- Any damages, losses, or liabilities resulting from transactions conducted via the platform
Users and providers are strongly encouraged to agree on clear terms, pricing, and expectations before any service engagement begins.
Content and Reviews
User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on QuickAid, but by posting you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the platform.
Reviews and Ratings
Reviews submitted on the platform must be:
- Based on genuine, first-hand experiences with the provider
- Honest, fair, and not deliberately misleading
- Free from profanity, hate speech, personal attacks, or discriminatory language
- Compliant with all applicable laws, including defamation laws
Content Moderation
We reserve the right to remove, edit, or decline to publish any content that violates these Terms, that we deem inappropriate, or that has been flagged for review. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so at our discretion.
Intellectual Property
The QuickAid platform — including its design, interface, features, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all non-user-generated content — is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use may result in account termination and legal action.
Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee or warrant:
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any provider information or listings
- The quality, safety, or suitability of services provided by any provider
- Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure platform operation at all times
- That the platform will meet your specific needs or expectations
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, QUICKAID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₦10,000 (whichever is greater).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QuickAid, its parent company (Coreline), affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your access to or use of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property or privacy rights
- Services provided or received through the platform
- Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the platform
Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration conducted in Nigeria under the relevant arbitration rules.
By agreeing to these Terms, you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against QuickAid. Each dispute will be resolved individually.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in courts located in Nigeria.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the platform.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
